Child-friendly Kids Worship, adult Sunday School classes and midweek opportunities for children, youth, and adults mix with a strong small group ministry. In and through it all, we seek to be Building God’s Family. We do this by partnering with families to promote a thirst for God, foster spiritual growth and work together to build God’s family. Our core values are: to be child-centered, to build relationships and to teach, creatively and prayerfully, in a fun and safe environment.

Sunday Mornings - Fall 2009

 

Christian Education at 11:00 a.m.

The Present Word Bible Study, led by Bill Lents, meets weekly in the Parlor throughout the year. Fall study: 'Covenant Communities,' on Joshua, Judges, Eztra, Nehemiah, Mark, 1&2 Peter.

 

A new class this fall season is called the W.A.Y. (Word in A Year).  A Bible-reading class, it is led by Flinn Lund and meets in the Sanctuary each Sunday.

Small Groups

 


The heart and soul of adults becoming disciples at FPC is in our small group ministry. Close to twenty small groups meet on various days at various times for various courses of study. Some groups are age-related, some are life-style related, some aren’t much related at all but enjoy meeting together for Christian study and fellowship. The small groups and study topics are almost always changing, but the list here is representative of what there is to choose from:

Couples

 

Want to work on your marriage? Perhaps a Home Builders small group is right for you! Many couples here at FPC have attended the annual Family Life Conference (offered in either Phoenix or Tucson) and have continued to meet together for studies that focus on marriage and family issues.
