AnnRev. Ann Conklin, Pastor

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ of First Presbyterian Church of Mesa ~

It is with great joy that I come to worship with you and bring forth God’s Word for us all. It is with great hope that I look forward to beginning a long and fruitful partnership in ministry with all of you.

I am deeply grateful for the wonderful weekend that I spent in Mesa meeting with the PNC and learning more about your congregational life and ministry. I am excited about all of the many mission and outreach activities in which you are engaged and look forward to exploring new possibilities in ministry with you.

It was a delight to meet with the members of the PNC in small groups, to tour your lovely city of Mesa, to see the beauty of God’s creation in the mountains and lakes that surround you, and to share many meals and genuine, honest conversation together. I appreciate very much all of the time, thought, and prayer that the PNC put in to planning and organizing my time in Mesa.

Throughout this process, I have felt God’s steady hand guiding each step along the way and God’s wisdom being imparted into my discernment. Because it has been Spirit-led and Spirit-filled, I fully trust that it is God who has brought us together and who will provide all we need for our ministry to flourish! I can’t wait to see where God will lead us in the years to come as we seek to show forth God’s love and share God’s grace with the world.

I will hold you all in prayer and ask that you do the same for me and my family as we make this transition in ministry and cross-country move over the next couple of months.

In Christ’s abundant love and eternal hope,
Rev. Ann Conklin
